Privacy and account data

This is technical information for the implementation version. Before making the service available to customers, the operator must provide a complete privacy policy covering the controller's details, legal bases, recipients, retention and how rights can be exercised. Company data from auta.ch has not been copied.

Data used by the application

We store account and contact details, a protected password hash, the history of your bids and acceptance of terms, watched vehicles, wanted-car requests and fulfilment correspondence. Purchaser details are provided separately after fulfilment is confirmed.

Other participants cannot access your bids or data. An authorised administrator may view the information needed to manage the account and fulfilment.

Session and security

Sign-in uses an essential HttpOnly session cookie valid for up to 7 days. Changing the password invalidates active sessions.

You can change your contact details under “My account”. Contact support through the contact page about any other data-related matters. This page does not replace the operator's complete privacy policy.
